Plaki is a rough translation for 'baked'. My Greek wasn't that great last time I checked (non-existent) so correct me if I'm wrong! This 3-bean dish is amazing- comforting, healthy and hearty! And so easy!
Need a hit of cookie, but don't want the nasties? Check these out!
The perfect post-workout smoothie, or breakfast on the run!
I love pesto....but I'm not really a pine-nut kind of gal. Here is a delicious and nutritious alternative! Serve with a delicious pasta- I used soy bean pasta!!!
Being St. Paddy's day today, I wanted to make something healthy, delicious, and green! I don't know how the Irish feel about spinach, so instead I made it green another way....
There is no greater pleasure than eating fresh vegetables from your garden! Not only do you know exactly where they have come from, what has been sprayed on them and how fresh they are- but they taste 1000 times better!! Microgreens are my new love- they are sprouted seeds that have been planted and harvested when they are about an inch high, to gain maximum nutrition.
Tonight, I wanted GREEN. Not a green smoothie, not a salad, but something green. After eating this years and years ago at in Indian restaurant (and feeling a tad ill afterwards) I had steered clear of this, as I wasn't sure I could re-create the creaminess without the fat or dairy. Well watch out- this is amazing!
No nasties have gone into this sauce....just lots of Vegie Head love!
