3 Comments Reminiscent of Peanut Butter and Jam, this smoothie is packed full of delicious, healthy fats, fruits and life-giving coconut water. So good. As I near my twenty-something birthday (on the 15th of Feb) I have decided that this week is going to be full of things that are GREEN! Looking at some photos of myself over the last few weeks, I can see I desperately need more sleep and a bit of a cleanse to be rid of the hideous bags under my eyes. This soup is amazing- served at room temperature it has a delicate 'green' flavour, with a zesty tang, and a decidedly spicy kick. The healthy fats from the avocado help to satiate, the chilli helps boost your metabolism, coconut water hydrates and the Green Superfood Powder is a wonderful way to enjoy a whole spectrum of nutrients. So, today, I got up with the intention of feeding my brain. Following on from one of my most popular posts of all time, this little smoothie is packed with FAT. Good fat, great fat, AMAZING FAT!!!! My brain is loving this right now. Click photo to view recipe An easy, light, mid-week meal! Great to get the vegetables in the little ones! Here is a simple (pre-made) mochi that is sweetened by coconut sugar and offset by the saltiness of coconut aminos. Delicious! |
