3 Comments Are you a sipper or a slurper? I'm loving my glass straw at the moment- and it's the perfect way to slurp up this delicious smoothie! http://www.glassstraws.com.au/ Click photo to view recipe As I near my twenty-something birthday (on the 15th of Feb) I have decided that this week is going to be full of things that are GREEN! Looking at some photos of myself over the last few weeks, I can see I desperately need more sleep and a bit of a cleanse to be rid of the hideous bags under my eyes. This soup is amazing- served at room temperature it has a delicate 'green' flavour, with a zesty tang, and a decidedly spicy kick. The healthy fats from the avocado help to satiate, the chilli helps boost your metabolism, coconut water hydrates and the Green Superfood Powder is a wonderful way to enjoy a whole spectrum of nutrients. Something dessert-y. Something FAST. Enter the Dreamy Strawberry Mousse. Less than 5 minutes to make. Yes please. Click photo to view recipe An easy, light, mid-week meal! Great to get the vegetables in the little ones! Click photo to view recipe I made this at World Vegan Day, Melbourne 2012, and to my surprise it was a huge hit! So easy, delicious, and healthy- great for kids and a beautiful little gift for friends and family at Christmas. I added 2 tbsp of this jam to my gluten free pancake recipe (omit plain chia seeds) and it was brilliant! Use on toast, cake, fruit salads, raw ice cream- anything! Use any berries you have on hand, feel free to experiment! The jam will last in the fridge for 2 weeks in a sterilised jar. Store excess jam in the freezer in zip lock bags.
