How amazing does this soup look? It is actually so delicious; courtesy of my new favorite kitchen item!!! The Le Creuset Bean Pot fromkitchenwaredirect.com.au is truly special. I have slow cooked two soups, a curry, and a chilli since I received it last week. Everything has tasted delicious. You need a simmer mat/heat diffuser to cook on a gas stove top; as it is stone it cannot be exposed to naked flame.

I posted a photo of this soup a few nights ago, and I have been asked at least 100 times for the recipe! It is my dear mum's soup- Shirley- who we affectionately call Mutti (German for 'Mother'). She takes care of me when I'm tired, overworked and can't be bothered cooking for myself. Whenever I visit her, she always has something delicious waiting for me. Thanks mum xx

As I near my twenty-something birthday (on the 15th of Feb) I have decided that this week is going to be full of things that are GREEN! Looking at some photos of myself over the last few weeks, I can see I desperately need more sleep and a bit of a cleanse to be rid of the hideous bags under my eyes.

This soup is amazing- served at room temperature it has a delicate 'green' flavour, with a zesty tang, and a decidedly spicy kick.

The healthy fats from the avocado help to satiate, the chilli helps boost your metabolism, coconut water hydrates and the Green Superfood Powder is a wonderful way to enjoy a whole spectrum of nutrients.
