This is the last #truelovetuesdays for 2016! The last few months have flown by, and my Tuesday visits to Blue Cross are a highlight of my week. Not only have I been smooched and kissed and cuddled by the most beautiful pups, but I’ve been blown away by the dedication of the team. We had a special visitor on this weeks episode too! Sophia from Green Tails Pet Nutrition came past and donated a whole lot of her amazing organic pureé and treats for the pups – and Hank, Holly and Stella even got some to try! They loved it. Check out this weeks episode below, and let’s get Moose a home! Moose is a 6 month old Bull Arab x, is a little...
Welcome back to #truelovetuesdays…and have I got a gorgeous girl starring in today’s episode! This is beautiful Tess! She’s a one year old Bull Arab x Hound, and couldn’t be sweeter! Update : Tess has been Adopted!! Thank you so much to her new family! Tess knows her name, basic commands, and is so friendly and willing to learn! This beautiful girl just wants to be everyone’s friend – and has melted both puppy and human hearts everywhere. She’s looking for her forever home – ideally one with humans that can spend some time training her and giving her lots of kisses! To enquire about Tess, contact Blue Cross Animals Society Victoria Address: 26 Homestead Rd, Wonga Park VIC 3115 Phone: (03) 9722...
Have you seen this bundle of love yet?! This week’s #truelovetuesdays star is Vince! Vince is a playful and loving pup, with lots of smarts, is willing to learn, and is looking for a family to call his own! As you can see, Vince is a gorgeous boy, has the sweetest personality and will make someone VERY happy. Can you give him a loving home? Ideally Vince would work well with older children or teenagers, as he’s still getting used to his long legs! He’d need someone to spend some time with him, to teach him things, to take him out and about and to expose him to different places and people. All in all, this little fellow is a...
I’ve been so excited to show-off Stella in front of the camera. We met a few weeks ago and clicked immediately. She’s an Irish Wolfhound X Sharpei – and having wolfie in her, reminded me so much of Holly! She’s such a sweetie – wait until you see her on camera! Isn’t she gorgeous? Well, you know how I said how I wanted to take her home? I did! I bought Stella home with me that afternoon so she could spend some time in a home while she waited for a new family. And she’s blossoming. She was a little unsure the first afternoon she arrived; she paced and wasn’t sure where she was allowed to go and what...
For a very long time, I’ve wanted to collaborate closely with a dog shelter, and help promote #adoptdontshop – a cause which I’m extremely passionate about. Being a fur-mama to three adopted pooches, it’s a cause close to my heart, and I’ve seen first hand the difference that one person can make in a dogs life. Update: Mya has been adopted! I wanted to work with a no-kill, not for profit, self funded and established rescue – and Blue Cross Animals Society in Wonga Park ticked all of those boxes. Plus, they are in love with animals. I’ve been to lots of shelters before, and I’ve never seen one so clean, where the dogs are so loved, looked after,...
