Raw Caramel Slice

  1. Base
  2. In a blender, process the macadamia nuts until they become a fine flour
  3. Add cacao powder, vanilla bean, coconut sugar and melted coconut oil together, then spoon into tray and press down. This is the base.
  4. Pop into the freezer for 15 minutes and clean blender
  5. Drain cashews, then blend Melted Cacao Butter, Coconut Oil, Medjool Dates, maca powder, sea salt and sugar together until smooth
  6. Pour on top of the base and freeze for a further 15 minutes
  7. To make the ganache, Whisk cacao powder and oil together until smooth- you may need to add more coconut oil depending on how thin or thick the ganache is
  8. You can add 1 tsp coconut sugar if you desire, as it is quite bitter
  9. Top the slice with the ganache and store in the refrigerator until ready to slice and serve
